Worklists

A worklist shows available work that an author, approver, or publisher is due to perform in the KM Portal. A worklist always displays work that is assigned to a particular user.

Individual worklists

To reach the Worklists page, use the navigation panel on the left side of the KM Portal. First, click Work, then Worklists.

Use the search bar to look for specific content, or use the dropdown to see a list of users and the work assigned to them. You can choose an individual author or all authors, and the worklist displays the articles in order of their urgency. Additionally, the columns that are displayed show the due date, article title, author and ID as well as the stage in which the article is in (for example, Create content).

To continue working on an article assigned to you, either click the article title or click Next Task.

The following figure shows the Worklists page:

For the worklist to function properly, the user must have the correct team assigned in Dev Studio.

Note: In most cases, a KM Author is assigned to the team KM default. The team to which a user is assigned impacts several features in the KM portal, including what is visible on their dashboard and worklists.

Next Task

Clicking Next Task always loads the next article with the highest priority from your worklist. In most cases, this is the oldest due article.

Next Task is in the header of Pega Knowledge and is always visible while navigating the KM Portal, as shown in the following figure:
